Europe 2007  In May of 2007, Oliver and I visited Berlin, Germany for the triannual Meyn sibling family reunion. After 2 short days in the German capital, we rented a car and drove to Prague, then on to Italy via the Autobahn through Bavaria, a tiny bit of Switzerland, a tiny bit of Italy, and Vaduz, the capital of Liechtenstein. In Italy, we chased the Giro d'Italia, imitated small parts of it on bicycles of our own, and generally enjoyed Italian luxuries. We visited Venice before heading to Slovenia - a fascinating country full of caves, castles and the Julian Alps, then onto Vienna for a final weekend. > See the photos. Back to top |
